fast food

Has anyone seen the movie "super size me" ?  Well i heard about it and was sick of my ten old always begging to go to Mc d's.  So as a loving parent we sat down as a whole family and watched. I did expect the guy to have some trouble and gain some weight but not what he went through.  I got the results i wanted my youngest does want fast food as much and now tries to think better about eating. In fact even the older kids was amazed and have slowed down on fast food and junk food  so it work for everyone including me.

I just wanted something simple to not have to go to Mc d   everyday.   But after what we seen and then discussed we all wanted to change are eating. Then we started exercising. The man in the movie only ate from Mc d and in the first thirty day he lost 10% muscle and gained 5% body fat. That doesn't seem like much but the Dr. said he should quit what he is doing now of course the man did not because this was to be a 90 day deal. he stopped his normal exercise and diet to do this and show everyone how bad  fast food really is.

After he went 60 days went back to the Dr. and he said the man had to stop or he would most likely die. Yes most likely die is what the Dr said. He also reported depression and a lost for sexual drive neither of which anyone in my family wants to happen to us. His girlfriend told him to move out she was done with this she was not going to stand by and watch him kill himself and that this was not worth his life. This man was still going to finish this through. We  as a family made the decision at this point to make a change and now. We all started working out or exercising and then we changed  he foods we eat.

The movie did finish with him alive and in really bad shape. he gained forty pounds of fat and had no breath to run anymore he was in very poor medical health. the Dr.s all decided what he did was a major lesson to them all and some were very surprised just how fast food stores could be that bad for us. Dr today now say we should not eat fast food and if we do only one time a month at most. It took that man almost two years of working and eating right to get back to his original health.  With this in mind my family now exercise and try to eat much healthier we are seeing and feeling a difference.  Kind of strange that this was all started with me wanting to NOT go to Mc d  two or more times a week.
